I am working as a microprocessor architect / design engineer at Texas Instruments. I received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. I also worked for Agency for Defense Development (ADD), South Korea for 10 years as a senior researcher.

My main research interests are in computer architecture. I am particularly interested in application-specific embedded systems (network processor, multimedia processor), workload characterization of emerging applications, performance modeling, parallel computing and parallel architecture design, power-aware design, physical synthesis and formal equivalence verification.
